Closure for Year 2008

To all my friends and everyone I know,

This shall be the last post of the year. This year had been a truly amazing year with lots of ups and downs (I'm sure everyone will say the same!!).

With the new year just less than 2 hours away, everyone will be counting down to it and I'm here at home writing this with all my family together watching the count down. New year, new resolutions are to be made but will they be kept??? I'll let you know next 31 Dec.

For a start, a few resolutions I've made are:

1) To be healthy
2) To study hard for my new year at school
3) To love my Bluey even more
4) Save more money and spend less
5) Treat everyone better
6) Be less hot-tempered
7) (And S if you're seeing this) I'll try to treat you nicer

There I have it, but will I be able to keep it and fulfil it? Hahahaha... I don't know.

23 December 2008

Just came back from the clinic visiting Bluey. He looks normal, pretty active and he doesn't look like he's sick. Tomorrow he will be taking his blood test again. Hopefully his level will decrease more and at least can maintain the level his body can cope.

Tomorrow is Christmas eve and it doesn't feel like it's Christmas, maybe it's because I never go to the shopping centres or places with more people.

Whatever it is, all I think of now is Bluey to be healthy, nothing else.

Feeling Down.

I'm right here watching tv and thinking about Bluey. I brought Bluey to the clinic on Saturday for a weekly checkup since now he's down with kidney disease. He had a blood test and his kidney level has increased again!!!! What am I to do? I've done everything I can for him!!! So the doctor suggested that he stay hospitalized and doing a drip of some kind of fluid to wash out the toxic level in his kidney. In some cases, the level might decreased half. So we agreed to let Bluey stay in the clinic for 2 days.

After 2 days, which is today, he had his blood test again. But there's only a slight decrease in his level. So the doctor keep him for 2 more days. I miss Bluey alot. Everyday, I go and visit him for 1 - 2 hours, the hardest part is to put him back to the cage and say goodbye to him. Seeing his right hand being bandaged and "poked" with the drip hurts my heart. Hopefully, his level can dropped to the compromised level for medication. I'll be bring him back during Christmas eve and my brother will be back too.

What a Week !!!

A recap on what I did last week...

Monday - 9 Dec : Hurray!! It was holiday. Nothing really happening happened.

Tuesday & Wednesday : As usual work days... Boring...

Thursday: Took leave and sent my brother to Tekong!!! The Tekong trip with my parents and Tim's girlfriend was fun. It's not like everyday you can go to Tekong. The place is huge and quite clean and tidy. We reached there at about 10.30am and tour till about 1pm. So tiring walking around. Lastly, we had our lunch there with my brother, as what they called in the Programme Menu - "Food Tasting Session". The food taste like crap, it's like the shitous meal I've eaten. This will be a real challenge for my brother. Good Luck Bro.

Friday : Came back to work as usual, but it's Friday.

Saturday : Brought Bluey to the vet. Just so you know, my dearie Bluey is diagnosed with kidney failure and he have to be on strict diet and constant visit to the vet. I am so upset by the whole thing and I don't feel like saying it anymore. Everything is sort of under control but he need to have his blood tested about every month to see if his condition is stable to prolong his life. He's with me for 9 years!! How would you feel if you're me??? I know his kidney problem can't be cured and all I ask for is to maintain and stabilized the condition to prolong his life, fragile life. Shit Tzu has the hereditary of kidney failure.

Sunday : Stayed at home and rot with my mother.

And now, Monday, 15 Dec, in the office looking out of the window, drizzling and groomy day...

December

Wow!!! We are at the last month of the year!!! Can you believe it?? For me, year 2008 has fly by so quickly... With a few blink of eyes, and now it's December. December is the time for the joyous occasion of Christmas. Time for gifts shopping again. I got to check it out and take a look at where is having a sale. This coming Monday will be a public holiday and I am looking forward to 19 December cause it will be my last day of work for the year before my office opens again on 5 Jan 2009. Haha!!! Office closed for 2 weeks since the offices at NZ is closed too!! Haha, please do not envy me. Fill you guys with more stuff later!!! Take care.
