FHA 2008 Expo Show

OK guys.. I was really busy with my company's FHA Expo Show which makes me so tired to blog when I've reached home. The time that I reached home is 7 ~ 8pm, I got to bath and have my dinner, watched TV for awhile and went to sleep. I need to wake up at 6 and reach the office at 8am. That repeats for a few days. Finally the show is over and I can relax and sleep more.

The whole show was fun and I've learnt alot for my friends in NZ about the different cuts of beef, lamb and even fishes. They had flown fresh fishes, seafood, fresh NZ abalone, beef and lamb just for the show. No trading and selling is allowed at the show, so the items are really just "for show". After the show, some of them are given to the potential clients and the rest the staff takes home!! Everything tastes so fresh and nice, really like those stuff.

Below is some interesting pictures of me holding the big lobster (roughly weighs abt 3~3.5kg). Do I look nice and cool in it?? HAhA!!

Visit to The Jurong Fishery Port

Hi all, let me share an interesting "road trip" I had during the past weekend.

Before I start, let me brief you why I was there: My company had just started doing trading business with a co. in NZ regarding importing / exporting of fresh seafood and meats (lamb, beef, etc). We have a new girl to be the specialist for this field. Her boss came down from NZ for a week plus because of the FHA Exhibition (which starts tmr) wants her to go to the fishery port for an insight. And my boss asked if I wanted to go and I said "YES, it'll be fun!" So that's why all went there.

We met up at 3:30am on a Sunday morning (yawnzz). There were lots of people from the local wet markets buying fishes, collecting there fishes. It was the first time in my life that I saw so many fishes and seafood -- there's big red grouper, red snapper (to name a few). It was so exciting. We even went into the cold room where they kept the frozen seafood and meats, it's minus 18 degrees! I was freezing cold.

The visit was ended at around 5:30am and we went for breakfast. When I reached home, it was 7am and I went to bath and sleep till the noon.

Overall, it was fun and educating. Good experience.

BUSY BUSY BUSY !!!

Oh Gosh!!! I'm so busy with my work this month!! With my company participation in FHA 2008 exhibition at Expo this month, I've got lots to do so I hardly have the time to write.

And with my never-ending wisdom tooth plucking, I finally had my last 2 tooth from my left side plucked out and I'll spare the details cause I know it's really boring for you all.

So I went to watch The Other Boleyn Girl on Saturday. It was not bad (3 out of 5 stars, I'll give). There's one thing I've find out is that (correct me if I am wrong), in the ancient Chinese era of Kings and Queens, the King can have 1 Queen and lots of concubines and he can named any sons to be his successor. But for the English era, the King only has 1 Queen and whoever (son or daughter) the Queen bears with be the successor and the King can only have mistress that are not lawfully. So interesting.

I'll stop now, will write more when I am not so busy with my work.

Take care.
