Dental Visit (3)

Hello, finally it's the closure to my Dental Visit Trilogy.

Today I had my wisdom tooth extraction operation. The procedure is as fast as lightning. First, I entered the surgery room and the nurse asked me to lie on the (surgery kinda) bed. Next the doctor came in and told me what to expect from the surgery and if I know that there's a certain percentage risk of getting my nerve damage from the procedure and do I still agree to proceed on. Of course I said YES, the wisdom tooth is killing me.

After that she placed a cotton bud of cream in mouth (the wisdom tooth area) and asked me waited for 5 mins and she told the nurses to prepare the surgical tooth for the op and disappeared. Voila, she came back after 5 mins and tell me, " Miss Lee, now I'm going to inject anesthetic to your gum (the right side where my wisdom tooth is) and it will hurt a bit, please bear with it." BEAR WITH IT!!! It hurts like hell to me.

Awhile later, she start covering me with the kinda of green colour surgical blanket with only my mouth exposed. With the doctor, scrape scrape and dig dig, my both upper and lower wisdom tooth is out and she says, " Miss Lee, it's done, please remember to take the painkillers on time and you still have to brush your teeth as usual but be gentle a bit." "And here's your teeth."

After 45 mins of the checking and prescribing of medicine, I'm out of the hospital.

Now, I'm sitting in my house's living room and my mouth hurts like crazy, I can't open my mouth too big and my mum had to cook porridge for my dinner and the coming few days.. Sigh!!! And I've got MC till Monday before I go back to work.

Before I go off, below is a picture of my bloody tooth. Viewer's Discretion (please do not blame the author) :

Dental Visit (2)

I went for my dental appointment yesterday at AH.

I will have to pluck my WISDOM TOOTH, total of 2 tooth I have to pluck !!! O.M.G!!! 2 tooth from my right side. How am I suppose to eat after that???

I asked the kind nurse who attend to me how long does the operation takes and she told me it's 15 - 30 mins but I have to stay put for 2 hours for monitoring before I can go home. GOSH!!!

I am so afraid of the operation. The sound of the drills sent chills to my spine. The scheduled appointment for my operation is tomorrow. I've taken a day off from work and told my boss that I do not know when I'll be back (depends on my MC).

What am I suppose to eat after the operation, from my (rather good) point of view, I can't eat so I'll definitely be thin and I can lose weight!! I'm soooo scared for the operation tomorrow. Anyone wants to take my place?? Please call, thank you!!!

I'll continue my Dental Visit Post after my operation and when I'm feeling better. It will then complete my trilogy of my Dental Visit.

The Singapore Flyer Trip

Went to take the Singapore Flyer yesterday, cost $29.50 a round. You decide if it's worth it when you take the trip. The whole round is so slow that you can hardly feel that it's moving. The view of the flyer?? Boo Boo.. You can hardly see any good views, all you can see is the construction of the new IR. Except that, if you think that the CBD area's tall office buildings are kinda of nice then, you have it. That's what you really get with the ticket price.

If there's a next visit, I'll definitely go when the whole IR is finish. at least then I'll get a better view for the price I pay for.

There's some pictures for you to see:

Dental Visit (1)

Oh Gosh!!! Went for my dental visit today to check on my teeth. The experience is so freaking, hated the sound that came from the room.

When the buzzer show my number, my heart skipped a beat! Went into the room, saw the doctor and the nurse smiling at me. The doctor is young and she look pretty sweet (nice teeth). She started lowering the chair and told me not to be afraid. Next she took out her weapon and anked me to open my mouth. Dig, dig, scrape, scape and told me my results... It shows that my guess is CORRECT !!! My wisdom tooth have come out!!!! ALL OF THEM!! Most of them are in the midst of growing out, she refer me to AH for a check-up and I might need to pluck them all out. So I've booked my AH appointment and awaiting for the check-up.

Fingers-crossing.

After the check-up, I did scaling and polishing of my teeth. Feels so good now!! I can be the model of the next Darlie Advertistment, haha.

So long for now, more updates on my wisdom tooth after the appointment at AH.

I had a busy week after I came back from Bali (business trip not holiday!!). There are so many things waiting for me to get it done!!! Finally it's Friday!!! I can use the weekend to take a break!!

Bali was not too bad, quite nice beaches they got themselves. On the arrival day, went to the famous KU DE TA restaurant for dinner. I had half a dozen of fresh oyster for entree,it was DELICIOUS!!! I had the Lobster Linguini for the main course and the seafood is so fresh and the pasta was great. The place is consider a fine dining restaurant, the total bill was around SGD 200....

Went to a beach cafe for a seafood dinner on the second night, the lace was great, had the dinner on the beach along the sea, the sea breeze was so nice, made you enjoy the seafood more... yummy yummy...

First Entry.

Hi...

This is my first blog entry. Also don't know why I want to start a blog. It's just that now, in the world now, I feel that people are only getting touch with each other through blogs. Emails and Phones are soooo yesterday. So I better start one to stay in touch with my friends. But, I still feel that this is not a good way to stay connected. Meetings and gatherings are still the working solutions to good, long-lasting friendship.

So long now, good bye..
