I’ve been thinking about this topic for a long time…
Friends come and go in your life; I suppose everyone will definitely have a friend or two. But the question is, “What is a good friend?” and “What makes a good friend?”
A good friend is someone who
- will support you no matter what.
- you can trust and who won’t judge you.
- won’t put you down or deliberately hurt your feelings, but will show kindness and respect.
- will love you not because they feel they have to because you’re their friend, but because they choose to.
- will be there no matter what your situation is
- is trustworthy trustworthy and not afraid to tell you the truth, no matter how hard it is sometimes.
- can laugh when you laugh.
- will stick around when things get rough.
- makes you smile.
- can accept you for who you are, and just lend you an ear when you need to whine or complain.
- will cry when you cry.
- will give you room to change.
However, with a busy schedule that everyone is having now, it’s difficult to keep in contact with your friends. After a long time people changes, your best friend might not be your best friend anymore as constant contact is difficult to maintain. With less contact, people tend to be drifted apart. So what do you do when you face this situation? Do you just let it be or you'll work hard on mending the friendship?
So my friends, I might be busy with my work and cannot keep constant contact with you, but you are always on my mind. Take care my friends.
